Practice Information
Giffnock Orthodontic Centre is a long-established practice with a modern and welcoming approach to patient care. We accept patients from anywhere in Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland. Although to help you achieve the best treatment you would have to attend the practice at least every 3 months. We offer several types of braces that have been tried and tested over the years to ensure you the best possible smile.
Our experienced and friendly team of Specialist Orthodontists and Orthodontic Nurses would be delighted to welcome you to the practice should you wish to come and see us for a complimentary consultation.
If you have been referred by your dentist, we are located in the Southside of Glasgow. We are in close proximity to Glasgow Airport (8.5 miles), Giffnock Train Station (140 yards) and local bus stop, number 38 bus to Glasgow City Centre (110 yards). We are also nearby major motorways such as the M77 (6 miles).
Being a Specialist Orthodontic Practice, we only treat orthodontic patients I.e., patients who have or are interested in braces and straightening their teeth. To find your nearest dental practice offering general dental care please use the NHS Inform website here.
Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 6.30pm. We are also open on Bank Holidays (except in December and January).
Should you have a dental emergency outside of the practice opening hours, please contact NHS 24 on 111 who will be able to assist you. This is an out of hours service provided by the NHS.
We accept the following methods of payment: cash and most major credit and debit cards, including American Express credit cards. Please note we do not accept cheques.

Missed appointments take up valuable clinical time which instead could be used to see other patients. You may incur a missed appointment fee.
Should you require an interpreter please let us know at the time of booking your appointment so we can arrange this for you. This is a free service provided by the NHS and includes Sign Language interpreters. We can accept this request via phone call, email or using the free Relay UK service. Please note that all of our Orthodontists are bi-lingual, therefore, if you require a Greek interpreter, please ask to see Dr. Kantopoulos, or for Arabic, please ask for Dr Aljubouri or Dr. Al-Silwadi.
